‘2 Many Wines’ is the brainchild of Cyriaque and Benjy, who have over 25 years’ experience in hospitality and wholesale and share the same passion for brilliant wines and gourmet food.
The York based business, which opened towards the end of 2020, has a virtual wine bar concept which will be echoed across its new website when it launches in the middle of March. The knowledgeable pair can help you choose the right wine for any occasion, making it easy to select amongst the tremendous sea of wine out there, all with a personal touch.
After consultation, they select the perfect wines for you and deliver them on the same day around York and surrounding areas (and UK mainland between 3/4 working days). And of course, they will support you with choosing the right food pairing, just let them know what you are having for dinner and they will match and bring your wine to your door!
The business has had a really positive reaction on its social media platforms and has already built up a loyal following, such as Jessika who commented:

The duo also has a Thursday night virtual wine club called ‘Chez Barbara’ – the name was chosen by their social media followers and named after their virtual barmaid ‘Barbara’! The evening includes relaxed and enlightening chat about the enchanting world of wines with two new wines to sample each week and always has a special guest from the world of wine, often joining from across the globe. Past guests have included ‘Franck Massard’ from Catalunya and ‘Hunberto Canale’ from Patagonia.

However, 2MW is not just about wine delivery and the club, they also conduct private virtual wine tastings and often collaborate with Yorkshire based and national independent businesses to bring to your door some exciting healthy drinks, cocktails and gourmet food. Partnerships include ‘Le Voyage’ with chef ‘Dale Spink’, ‘Roland’s Bar’, Leeds and most recently Nicole from ‘@enf.eats’, a local blogger and food enthusiast who is designing some recipes that work perfectly alongside 2 Many Wines selected wine pairings, once a week.
