The thoughtfully curated Feasting and Fireworks evening event commences in the hotel’s restaurants with canapés to start, followed by a three-course seasonal menu, with menus for little ones and juniors tailored for their tastes too. The main seasonal menu is created with local fayre such as ravioli with butternut and sage textures; braised beef ox cheek or vegetable Lancashire hot pot; toffee apple frangipane tart with clotted cream and poached plum and treacle upside down cake.
Juniors enjoy starters including mini beetroot hummus with garlic bread or fishcakes to start – with mains of minute streak or pappardelle pasta with tomato herby sauce, with desserts including a delicious banana and date pudding with butterscotch sauce; kiddies under 12 enjoy their favourite meals of garlic bread, plus chicken nuggets or hamburgers, followed by ice-cream,
After dinner, families gather outside, to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display choreographed to music. With the Yorkshire Dales as a dramatic backdrop, making this a Bonfire Night a wonderful spectacle for all age groups in the family to enjoy the luxury of a meal indoors withy tasty seasonal treats whilst still enjoying the magic of the outdoor elements of this seasonal evening too, not least the fire and fireworks to top off a convivial evening for all.
