It’s our favourite and most magical time of the year when Father Christmas arrives with his mischievous band of elves to mark the start of the festive season.
This annual event from the last weekend in November to 22nd December brings yule time magic to Strid Wood, and the woodland becomes an enchanting Christmas Village, bedecked with twinkling fairy lights and hosted by our cheeky visitors from the North Pole.
The elves invite children along for an interactive experience on their journey to meet with Father Christmas himself, a chance for the elves to find out whether children have been ‘naughty or good’, and to create festive crafts and make music together.

The highlight of the tour is meeting Father Christmas himself, where (good) children will receive a special gift from the Great Man himself. At the end of the adventure, hot drinks and snacks are available to enjoy (cash purchases only)
Weekends from 26/27th Nov, through 3/4th Dec and 10/11th Dec, then each day 17th – 22nd from 9am till 5pm (last entry at 4pm)
Please come dressed suitably for this outdoor event and a torch will be useful for the atmospheric woodland area is rather dark, make sure footwear is sturdy. Pushchairs can be brought along but no dogs on this occasion.

It is a 15 minutes’ walk from the car park via Strid Wood to the Christmas Village so please allow plenty of time, whilst not arriving more than 5 minutes early for your timed slot.
