Spinnaker is proud to introduce an extension to its iconic Dumas collection of dive watches. The famed 70s inspired geometry of the Dumas has become a fan and editorial favourite in the Spinnaker range, and the all-new GMT automatic range elevates the collection and presents a timepiece for collectors, adventurers and enthusiasts.
Inspired by famed dive pioneer Frederic Dumas, the watch collection has become synonymous with the Dumas Spinnaker brand and its efforts to draw new lines in nautically inspired watch design. With a series of bi-colour bezels, the range features pop, flair and character even as the dial is a study of balance, legibility and functionality.
These features are highlighted with an assembly of suitably weighted hour and minute “plongeur” style hands and round and baton like indexes that are generously lumed with SwissSuper-LumiNova for maximum impact visibility in low light conditions.
The octagonal case of the Dumas is carefully chamfered and is bold and striking while still being a comfortable fit, delivering an impressive 300m of water resistance to the wearer. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal lens adds maximum legibility, visibility and clarity. The independent GMT dual time hand reads off a secondary time zone with the external uni-directional 24-hour bezel allowing for a third time zone read out a glance.
This function is all courtesy of the reliable breakthrough Seiko TMI NH34GMT Japanese Automatic movement running the Dumas GMT from within, with an enduring precision and reliability. The Dumas GMT hugs the wrist thanks to a solid, yet comfortable hexad style bracelet. It also comes equipped with a uniquely customised rubber strap designed to complement each unique colourway for added versatility and wear options.
Measuring in at 44mm in diameter, and only 15mm in thickness, the Dumas GMT packs a mighty punch in term of style, comfort, functionality and all-round dive watch excellence.
