Amazing Pure Wool Ponchos and Rugs by The Wilde Sheep Company – Yorkshire Born and Bred!

Last month we introduced you to what we consider to be a unique, family run business with an eye set firmly on producing amazing pure wool products and the lowest carbon footprint possible.

Yorkshire based, The Wilde Sheep Company, has a focus on biodegradability and ethical standards, overseeing the whole process from start to finish. This includes purchasing the raw wool from their chosen sheep farmers, which allows them to provide a complete supply chain to their customers.

Last time we told you all about the beautiful lambs wool cloth they produce for their luxury throws and now, with thoughts firmly on Christmas and the gifting season, they have added stunning ponchos, rugs and cashmere socks to their product range.

All but the socks are kept completely local, made in a Yorkshire woollen mill, using original machinery and traditional methods.

The throws make a fantastic gift as they are so versatile and can be used all year round. They make a stunning accessory to any home, are great to take on a summer picnic to sit on and of course, once autumn nights turn chilly, wrap one around your shoulders to stay cosy!

Pure wool ponchos are a classic fashion piece and can be worn in many ways, transforming any outfit instantly. They are lovely and warm and immediately add a touch of chic.

Ponchos and throws are available in a superb choice of colours.

The Wilde Sheep Company wool rugs are guaranteed to add style, texture, character and comfort to any home. Available in a variety of styles, sizes, colours and patterns, they will make any room in your home just that bit cosier.

The Wilde Sheep Company has an enviable ethical approach to sustainability and the environment.

Their wool hasn’t travelled many thousands of miles, in fact it is sourced in our precious British countryside and crafted in a traditional Yorkshire mill.

In short, wool is one of the best fibres in the world and this is why The Wilde Sheep Company are so passionate about it!
