There are so many tempting options which will have you reaching for the diary and arranging a spa session at the earliest opportunity, to make the most of this glorious summer we’re enjoying.
The bijoux spa of this well-loved country hotel is housed in an ancient barn across the way, has the added enticement of the Secret Spa village. Here spa lovers can enjoy their own individual canvas bell tent, with its own dining and vanity area, combining the stunning spa with the natural beauty of the open countryside.

As well as the relaxing properties of nature outdoors, indoors there’s a state-of-the-art thermal spa suite, boasts hydro jets, water cannons, jacuzzi benches and bubble recliners, harnessing the power of water to ease away any stress and tension, sauna, steam room and a beautifully appointed relaxation area. Perfect for all spa lovers.

With prices starting at just £65 per person there is a wide range of spa and dining experiences to enjoy, selecting the occasion to best meet your needs. Choose from a selection of day spa experiences, some of which include the exclusive use of your own private bell tent, with its own dedicated dining and vanity areas and sun loungers, in the secret spa village, along with use of the indoor spa facilities in the stone barn too. The Full Spa Day with Lunch & Rasul for example includes a private canvas bell tent, along with a rasul mud chamber experience for two and a light spa lunch, priced at £180 for two people (midweek only).

To make the most of the hotel’s incredible location for spa lovers, an overnight stay is an invitation to explore the area further. Residential spa stays are priced from £350 per couple (£175 per person) based upon an overnight stay, including a 60-minute spa treatment, and use of the spa facilities from 2pm until noon on the day of departure, with a hearty Yorkshire cooked breakfast included.
All spa experiences include complimentary towel and robe hire and we ask that you bring your own flip flops to wear.
All of the Devonshire spa therapists are classically trained in therapeutic and beauty arts, and are also specifically trained to care for those with specific needs, such as mum-to-be or those navigating a cancer journey.

This beautiful country spa hotel is unique in having access to the privately-owned Estate at Bolton Abbey so your recreation time in the Dales can really make the most of the hotel’s glorious location too, exploring the well-loved stepping stones across the River Wharfe, by the Abbey’s Priory ruins, or venturing further afield to meander riverways spotting flora and fauna, or climbing across moorland and rocky outcrops for a more adventurous hike, with the reward of a bird’s eye view.
