Individual Restaurants is rolling out the red carpet for Piccolino’s 25th anniversary. There is a dazzling, limited edition menu that’s as rich in flavour as it is in history.

From its humble origins in Knutsford to an icon of Italian cuisine, Piccolino is more than a restaurant. Over 25 years, it’s become a much-loved institution for authentic Italian food, impeccable service and heart-warming hospitality.
In September, the restaurant celebrated a quarter-century of the finest Italian food. Moreover, the passion that goes into the food is now on show with the launch of a special anniversary menu.

At the heart of Piccolino’s limited-edition 25th anniversary menu lies the extraordinary Lasagne al Wagyu Tartufo. In addition, this is dish is nothing short of a culinary spectacle! With an impressive 25 layers, this one-of-a-kind lasagne redefines indulgence, captivating guests with its stunning presentation and rich flavours.
Each layer of this masterpiece is carefully crafted, featuring tender, slow-cooked wagyu beef, complemented by subtle hints of luxurious truffle. Rich béchamel and tomato sauce weave through each slice, while a blend of matured Italian cheeses adds a delightful creaminess. Furthermore, it is finished with a touch of fresh basil, making it a celebration of Italian heritage and culinary artistry.
Uniquely, this isn’t just a lasagne; it’s an experience! Guests will be in awe at the reveal of this towering creation, promising to be the centrepiece of unforgettable dining.
Kicking off the celebration is the Italian 25 aperitif and is a fresh take on the iconic ‘French 75’ cocktail. This drink elevates the sparkling elegance of champagne with lemon and gin, the perfect glass to toast the occasion!
Amongst the dishes making a revival for the anniversary, guests can delight in the nostalgic flavours of Bruschetta con Funghi. A heavenly blend of baked mushrooms, garlic spinach, Asiago cheese, basil pesto, and truffle on toasted sourdough. A retro dish that will be sure to savour the flavours of Prosciutto e Melone. San Daniele prosciutto di Parma paired with sweet cantaloupe melon.

Firstly, the main course includes Risotto al Merluzzo Affumicato. Secondly, the delicate smoked haddock and leek risotto is crowned with a poached egg, matured Italian cheese, lemon, and parsley. Thirdly, this is a true symphony of flavours that will transport guests straight to Italy.
The Penne con Salsiccia Piccante main course with slow-cooked tomato and chilli sauce and spicy Calabrian sausage is divine. Other main dishes on the menu include Pollo alla Valdostana, and Branzino con Gremolata featuring a pan-fried sea bass. The fish comes with garlic, lemon, and parsley salsa, an unexpectedly light yet delicious fish dish.
Indulge in Piccolino’s newest desserts that encapsulate 25 years of passion, bringing a perfect sweet finale to every dining experience. The Piccolino Rocher is a dreamy choux bun cloaked in chocolate and crunchy hazelnuts, with Nutella and hazelnut cream inside. A touch of silver adds a little sparkle to reflect the incredible 25 years of Piccolino. The Torta Caprese is luxurious where rich, dark chocolate meets almonds in this irresistible tart, served with smooth vanilla cream.
In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Piccolino is offering a special treat to those who share this milestone. Guests born or married in 1999 are invited for lunch or dinner to celebrate a 25th birthday or Silver Wedding. To mark the occasion, guests will be given a complimentary bottle of prosecco, adding a sparkling touch to their meal. This exclusive offer is Piccolino’s way of raising a glass to its loyal customers.
