The ever-evolving five-star Seaham Hall, on Durham’s heritage coast, has unveiled three super-stylish hot tub suites for guests to enjoy absolute tranquillity and ultimate relaxation in their own private haven.

With lush green hedges surrounding the gardens, the hot tubs are completely secluded, offering a stunning location to soak away the day. Sink into the massaging bubbles and sip away on your tipple of choice.

Just steps away from the subterranean walkway that transports guests to the award-winning Serenity Spa, each suite has been individually designed by the hotel’s Principal Designer, Louise James (KONCEPT ID).

The eclectic interiors take inspiration from the surrounds, together with the history and heritage of the country house, by reflecting the flamboyant personality of romantic poet, Lord Byron (who famously married Lady Annabella Milbanke at Seaham Hall in 1815).

Suites 1 and 4 are Garden themed, with butterfly headboards, nature paintings and floral colours. Suite 3 is Artist themed, with easel mirrors splashed with paint, walls covered in rainbow-like artwork and brightly-coloured furniture.

Each room has a king-size bed (suites 2 and 3 can be changed to twin if preferred), separate lounge area, French doors leading to the private garden with a hot tub, luxurious bathroom and fluffy bathrobes, plus towels and slippers to use for your hot tub enjoyment.

New: Tapas, Tubs & Taittinger

NEW: Combine the thrilling, action-packed spectacle of Kynren with a historic stay

Kynren is an exciting live action outdoor theatre show, journeying through British history, and taking place across a seven-and-a-half-acre stage in County Durham. See 1,000 cast and crew bringing to life the story of Viking invasions, royal splendour, wars, heroic sacrifice, and seismic change to locals’ lives.

Combine this exhilarating spectacle – speeding you through 2,000 years of  time gone by – with a stay at five-star boutique hotel Seaham Hall‎. With its fascinating history, and just 40 chauffeur-driven minutes away, Seaham Hall makes an ideal base for visitors to Kynren.

Set in a glorious location overlooking the Durham heritage coastline, Seaham Hall was built in 1791 by Sir Ralph Milbanke, whose daughter married poet Lord Byron in Seaham Hall’s drawing room in 1815.

The Georgian house has enjoyed a rich and eventful past, becoming a military hospital during WW1 and playing a key role in the US Prohibition, by bottling Spey whisky and smuggling it to America via a tunnel to Seaham Harbour that’s still visible to this day in Seaham Hall’s wine cellar.

THE KYNREN GETAWAY costs from £248 pp, including an overnight stay on a Saturday (to enjoy the show in the evening), VIP tickets for Kynren with private return transfers, breakfast and full use of the award-winning spa facilities from 12 noon on the day of arrival to 12 noon on the day of departure, including the new Zen Garden. Price based on two sharing.

Available on the following dates: Saturday 27 July, Saturdays 10, 17, 24 and 31 August, and Saturdays 7 and 14 September.
