US restaurant chain, Slim Chickens, will soon be ruffling some more feathers in London, this time bringing their Southern hospitality to the bright lights of Soho.
The restaurant will open in February on the corner of Old Compton Street and Moor Street, surrounded by some of the city’s most iconic entertainment landmarks.
Slim Chickens are famous for their mouth-watering signature chicken tenders (buttermilk marinated, hand-breaded and cooked fresh to order), which have been dubbed truly ‘life changing’. Their menu also features chicken sandwiches and wings, as well as a selection of quintessential Southern US sides, including fried pickles, Texas toast, and mac and cheese. Their unprecedented dedication to flavour comes in the form of 13 house dipping sauces, from House Ranch and Honey Mustard to Garlic Parmesan and Mango Habanero.
Soho guests can expect true Southern hospitality – service with a smile, a relaxed vibe with American sports and only the best modern blues soundtracks to chow down to. Already a huge hit in the US, with over 80 stores, the successful UK flagship restaurant was opened in Spring 2018 on London’s James Street to queues of chicken fans and hype on social media, followed by their latest launch in Cardiff in December. With both restaurants surpassing expectations, plans are underway to expand to other cities in the UK later this year.
Richard Pigott, Operations Director for Slim Chickens UK says, “Soho is one of the most unique and vibrant parts of the capital and we’re very excited to be bringing Slims amazing hospitality and life changing chicken to this part of London”
Ahead of the launch, Slim Chickens will be popping up throughout London to offer a taste of what’s to come. Customers are urged to follow @slimchickensuk on social media for the latest updates, and to download the ‘Slim Chickens UK’ app for a special treat when they open in February.
