THE UK’s first personalised children’s book to include a wheelchair option has launched in the UK.

Where Next, Teddy? from Chapterful puts children at the heart of their own night-time adventure. Not only is the story personalised with the protagonist’s name featured throughout, the main character can be customised depending on the recipient’s features, including hair colour and whether they wear glasses.  Create a character that looks just like your little one, type their name and then watch as they’re added into the story, as if by magic. Smiles are guaranteed with this stunning and unique storybook.

Join Teddy on a dreamy adventure from outer space to the bottom of the sea, from the wild jungle to the big city, and everywhere in between. Discover shooting stars, playful penguins, forgotten pirate ships, and all creatures great and small. Who will you meet, what will you see, and where will you go next? Find out in ‘Where Next, Teddy?’ from Chapterful.

It is also includes the option to sit the child in a wheelchair – the first for a British personalised children’s book.

Louis Porter of publishers Chapterful said: “We wanted to create a beautifully illustrated children’s book that puts the recipient right at the heart of the story. “We want every child to feel represented so adding the option to include a wheelchair in the design was hugely important to us.”

Where Next, Teddy? will take little ones into the furthest reaches of space, the depths of the deep blue sea and just about everywhere in between. Along the way they will meet polar bears, hot-air balloon pilots and parrots as the dreamtime adventure continues.

Written by Emily Shore, with illustrations by Hédi Fekete, Where Next, Teddy? is available in soft-back, hardback and deluxe finishes. Prices are £16.95 for the soft-back, £21.95 for the hardback and £25.95 for the deluxe finish.
