Vibrant floral installation and wreath making masterclass at The Ivy Harrogate
Harrogate will once again be in bloom this September, as the annual Harrogate Autumn Flower Show takes place at the North of England Horticultural Society, from Friday, 14 September, until Sunday, 16 September. To celebrate, The Ivy Harrogate has commissioned local florist Helen James Flowers to decorate its Parliament Street façade with a beautiful autumnal archway.
Available from Friday, 14 September to Friday, 21 September, this eye-catching installation will feature a number of deep orange, green and red blooms, including hydrangea, roses, willow, ivy and ferns. The popular Ivy Nursery Pot will also form part of the brasserie’s afternoon tea offering this September.
As a further celebration of the Flower Show, Helen James will also be hosting a floral wreath making workshop at the restaurant, followed by Champagne afternoon tea. Hosted on Sunday, 16 September from 4pm, tickets are priced at £35.00 per person.
Helen James is the founder and owner of Helen James Flowers in Harrogate, is currently a runner-up in the BFA’s UK Florist of the Year, and in 2011 was awarded a silver medal at the RHS Chelsea flower Show.
