From the Racecourse to the Catwalk Slingsby Gin announced as first ever sponsor of Ebor Fashion Lawn at the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival
Harrogate-based premium Gin brand, Slingsby, is the headline sponsor of this year’s Ebor Fashion Lawn, taking place at the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival from the 21st August at York Racecourse.
Fashion has become a key focus at the four-day racing event for spectators, and the summer festival is famous for its stylish attendees. Slingsby Gin will be the first ever sponsor of the Ebor Fashion Lawn, which has been created to embrace and celebrate racegoers’ love of style.
Racegoers will be able to watch and participate in the Slingsby Ebor Fashion Lawn, with daily prizes available for Best Dressed Lady and Gentleman, Runner up Lady and Gentleman, Best Dressed Couple and Best Dressed Child. The Gin brand is also category sponsor for Best Dressed Couple – the stylish pair will be able to enjoy Slingsby’s Master Distiller experience and a night away at Hotel Du Vin, Harrogate.
The sponsorship deal will see Slingsby branding on-stage, and incorporated within the design of the whole area, which is situated within the picturesque lawns of the Edwardian Weighing Room. Co-Founder of Spirit of Harrogate Marcus Black and Marketing Director Clare Gibson will form part of the judging panel throughout the four days and will be helping to select the very best dressed spectators throughout the duration of the event.
Co-Founder of Spirit of Harrogate Marcus Black comments: “We are extremely proud of our Yorkshire Heritage so to be involved in such a prestigious event like the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival at one of our local racecourses is very exciting for us. We hope all those taking part in the catwalk and attending the race meet have a brilliant time.”
The Gin brand will be generating buzz in the run up to the Welcome To Yorkshire Ebor Festival by hosting an event in its experience store in Harrogate where sponsors and fashion influencers can network ahead of the sporting event of the season.
