Make it boozy, Sweat it out or Morning inspo? – The New Orleans-style and female-founded premium cold brew brand, Bottleshot Cold Brew, launched a new deliciously light Oat M*lk cold brew coffee on 1 March 2020.

The new vegan-friendly Oat M*lk cold brew will join Bottleshot’s original bold, smooth Black flavour that launched in July 2019. Bottleshot adapted the brand’s classic Black cold brew recipe by mixing it with oat m*lk for an enriched, dairy-free finish. The Oat M*lk cold brew offers a light and refreshing alternative to introduce the right balance of nutty and naturally sweet flavours, compared to other watered-down or syrupy grab-and-go coffee drinks on the market that are excessively sweet. It is important to the team to stay true to the original cold brew recipes, creating an authentic taste.

Co-founder and CEO of Bottleshot, Annie Mitchell grew up visiting family on a frequent basis in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she developed her long-standing appreciation for the smooth and strong nature of the traditional style cold brew coffee. The idea of Bottleshot formed when Annie moved to the UK and struggled to find an authentic cold brew comparable to the quality she grew up loving.

Bottleshot is a premium New Orleans style cold brew coffee. It was co-founded by Annie Mitchell and Charlotte Dales, both long standing cold brew lovers who grew up drinking the originals from New Orleans where their families are from and where cold brew originated. Cold Brew is coffee that’s brewed with cold water over an extended period of time. The result? Charlotte moved to London a decade ago to launch her company Cake Technologies and, several years later, Annie joined her team. At Cake, they commiserated over the fact that they couldn’t find authentic cold brew in the UK and, after Charlotte successfully sold the company to a Fortune 500, they seized the opportunity. With the help of their local Parsons Green-based barista and a few coffee experts, they began to develop the Bottleshot recipe.
