Dollhouse Mel B

In just a few short months, a standalone bar has transformed the face of the Leeds party scene and put the city firmly back on the celebrity circuit. Dollhouse made its flamboyant debut in early August, just in time for the triumphant Leeds Pride festival, and has been packed to the rafters ever since.

Regulars include pop stars, footballers, influencers and not to mention West Yorkshire’s hottest nocturnal social butterflies, who keep coming back for more week after week. In less than four months, Dollhouse have seen over 20,000 people come through its doors and acquired an impressive 28k plus followers on Instagram; a figure which dwarfs every single independent bar in the city.

Dollhouse fairytale

The weekly Dolly’s Brunch, which runs every Saturday daytime, has become another floor filler with its combination of divine handmade desserts, super hot soundtrack and bottomless drinks. So, what’s their secret? Well, besides from the eye-popping cotton candy and hot pink interiors, seductive cocktails and smoking playlist, the constant stream of VIP guests have seemingly played a huge part in the Dollhouse fairytale.

Recent attendees include Spice Girl Mel B, rapper Aitch, Coronation Street stars, hip hop producer Charlie Sloth and fashionista and mega-influencer Kaz Crossley. Leeds United football player Kalvin Phillips is another regular, as are socialite sisters Daisy and Ellie O’Donnell.

They have also curated the perfect music policy, taking you on a journey through the finest house and R&B, giving customers the best of both from a solid team of resident Djs and world renowned names like Amine Edge & Dance, Colin Francis and DJ Russke all playing to sell-out crowds from the hallowed Dollhouse decks.

Founders Tom Zanetti and Kane Towning (who are notable influencers in their own right) have taken things in their stride and are looking forward to what is shaping up to be a memorable festive season for the thriving brand. Things will really start to heat up as soon as December drops, when the bar unveils it’s next must have picture moment – the DOLL BOXES. You’ll have to go and see these!

Dollhouse are all set to cap off what’s been a picture-perfect 2019 with their super exclusive DOLLS NYE Ball, which is already well on its way to selling out each and everyone of its in-demand VIP tables. DJ and Dollhouse co-owner Kane Towning had this to say ahead of the highly anticipated festive season:

‘Whilst we always believed in the concept and our passion to make it work; nothing could prepare us for the whirlwind success we’ve enjoyed since day one. We’re humbled that the party people of Leeds and beyond, celebrity or not, have taken Dollhouse to their hearts and made this brand what it is today.’’

‘’Our mission is to make people feel better than they did before walking in and seeing the hundreds of smiling faces each weekend is proof we are achieving this. The only way we can think to celebrate is to throw the biggest festive parties the city has ever seen, so brace yourselves – it’s going to be quite a December and the only place to be this New Year’s Eve in Leeds.’’
