Flying High

Tiger instantly captured the hearts of British consumers when it landed in the UK 13 years ago and since then has become a welcome fixture on high streets across the nation, now with 96 stores across the UK.

In June 2016 Tiger began the transition to Flying Tiger Copenhagen, to consolidate the brand internationally and highlight its Danish heritage. Mike Davis, Managing Director at Flying Tiger Copenhagen comments:

“We’re delighted to be opening in the beautiful city of York. St. Mary’s Square is a busy and buzzy destination that is a perfect fit for our brand personality. Flying Tiger Copenhagen inspires people to be creative, to try out new things and to enjoy themselves with the people they love and we look forward to welcoming local residents and visitors into store.”

The shop will be situated at 1 St. Mary’s Square, close to Fenwicks, Primark and Topshop. With Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s trademark maze layout and affordable, great designs, it is set to bring a fresh new shopping experience to Yorkshire.

Davis continues: “Flying Tiger Copenhagen in York will be our first opening in the North of England, creating 10 new jobs in the area, and marking the start of a major expansion plan in the region. “The store will open in readiness for Christmas, with lots of seasonal products including decorations, wrapping and gifts for the whole family. The store offers you all the things you didn’t know you needed, things you’ve dreamed of and things you never knew existed! We are confident this store will bring the best out of the beloved Flying Tiger Copenhagen shopping experience.”
